Random Grooves — saving the world one random groove at a time!

I just returned from the Roskilde Festival. I went there from Tuesday to Sunday – here’s a couple of links to some of the acts I experienced and a small description.

Thursday night: Céu
Never heard about this brazillian chick until I saw her show… Gorillaz played at the same time and it was way too crowded for my taste, so thought that I would check her out. And I’m glad that I did. It’s sexy, soulful and dubby! (the video is not filmed by me)

Friday night: Beat Torrent
One of the coolest concerts at the Roskilde Festival by far. Old hiphop classics mixed with house, techno and electro. They played pretty safe with a lot of hits but damn they rocked the crowd!! Their technique is really, really, really good. Go to a concert and get impressed! (video is not filmed by me)

Saturday night: Robyn
Okay… I admit it. I have a soft spot for this swedish fox. She delivered quite a clubby concert. I only heard the first half of it though because I had to go to and get ready for Prodigy! (video is not filmed by me)

Saturday night: Prodigy
The concert was just as you could expect… Raw, “in your face attitude” and lots of energy. New tunes (with the “old” rave sound combined with dubstep) and all the classics I grew up with. (the video is not filmed by me)

Saturday night: Moderat
A really nice concert! Deep, melancholic and with loads of bass!

Here’s a small clip from one of the best parties I attended last year. The Pokerflat Boat at Berlin, Beats & Boats in July. It was fucking awesome – would love to go again. Such a great vibe. The picture is a crazy crowd surfing italian dude…
